Easter

Yes, Easter came and went nearly a month ago, but better late than never, eh?  I was a bit remiss in taking pictures this year at my parents' house and then I left my camera at their house so I was without one for the inlaws' gathering the following day...oops!

We spent Saturday with my family.  Everyone but Steve was able to make it in.  As always, we had a healthy selection of dishes, but we certainly missed Steve's touch!  The dogs enjoyed a busy day and they were certainly tuckered out in the end. 

On Sunday we enjoyed a delicious ham dinner (one of my faves!) at the inlaws'.  The visit was not quite as energized since we don't have five dogs stirring up the pot!  But, the food's always delicious and may I say the dessert was absolutely one of the best I've ever tasted.  Mom H. put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into that lemon cake!  Yum yum yum...can still taste it as I'm writing this post!
