A Wonderful Weekend

The cats only snuggle if it's cold!

The building next door has a very effective draining system for their roof.
These ducks took advantage of it!

Despite the cold and rain, this past weekend was just wonderful. On Saturday, Mom and I spent most of the day together at the Hershey Outlets then off to Kutztown to see my sister's choreographed dance performance. It was great to see her, Thom and Molly, and to know that I'll see them again this week for Easter!

On Sunday, Zach and I enjoyed a great day together! We had a fun time shopping (food in the house once again!) and we made a fabulous fish dinner with our favorite potato salad and guacamole as an appetizer. He even agreed to watch the movie, Titanic, with me. He's the best!

Transformation

From this...To this...
Yes, I have decided to remake the quilt since it ended up being too large for the bed and the border was just not working for me. With many hours' help from my mom, we recreated a header and footer. The next step is to fashion the sides and put it all together. At that point, I'll be back to where I was before...many more hours left to final completion!

Happy Birthday

Last week we drove to Zach's parents' house to celebrate Dad's birthday. I was pleasantly surprised to find out we also had crafts to do! It was a lot of fun :)

Hangin' Out

Playing in the Snow

I found my camera and with it I found pictures from the first blizzard! Zach and I spent Super Bowl Sunday at my parents and while Zach and Dad watched TV, Mom and I and the girls had fun in the snow.
