Garden Update

Fred

Fred hasn't been feeling well and was unfortunately diagnosed with cancer this week.  I was looking through some older photos and it was funny how many I captured of him in interesting sleeping spots.  My favorite is the one in the sink...or the nativity set...or the suitcase...oh, who am I kidding?  They're all cute!  He is also my quilting buddy, my constant companion in the sewing room and my personal quality quilt tester.  Love you, Bay!

Memorial Day

It was a special Memorial Day weekend this year because everyone came home.  Yes, everyone!  That includes all my siblings and their significant others, plus my two nieces.  It was so special!

Baby Shower for Angela

Our Michigan family threw an online shower for Angela, Steve and Annalise.  We created an interactive website that allowed family to share advise and send well wishes.  Gifts were shipped to Mom's house and over the Memorial Day weekend, Mom, Melisa and I presented them the new family.  Annalise was content to watch the ceiling fan or snooze during the event.
