Long-awaited announcement - Mr. and Mrs. Clark!!

My sister and Thom finally made their committed relationship official in the form of a self-uniting Quaker marriage. They invited family for a gathering on Sunday, June 9th, and asked Mom and Molly Clark to witness their union. Everyone attending realized this was a mere formality since these guys have been going strong for seventeen years! I guess there's nothing like a baby to get things rolling, though!

The weather was perfect, a bright, sunny and breezy day in between many days of persistent rain showers. Everyone from both the Putz and Clark families was able to drop in and enjoy a delicious picnic.

The official family photos. There was quite a contrast between the ridiculously funny Clark crew and the much more serious Putz clan. Regardless, we all enjoyed ourselves!

Garden Update

I'm just adding a few photos of what my garden looked like on the last day of May. I am eagerly awaiting the blooms in my perennial gardens. For now I will be content with the roses and the astibles that just bloomed today!

Mom and I put these beeswax candles together as favors. They are intended to be lit when Melisa begins her labor to send positive thoughts and prayers in her direction.
