I've been working on these curtains since my holiday break. I used an old set of off-white curtains and added a little bit of color with beading along the bottom and ribbon along the top. The shade is a relaxed Roman shade that was thankfully quite easy to make. After spending so much time creating a Roman shade in my other apartment, I thought I'd go the easier route this time. Smart move!

Holiday Recap
In order to keep this blog somewhat timely, I shall post my holiday recap, filled mostly with photos.

The week between Christmas and New Year's was, for me, the most enjoyable week I have had in a long time. I gave myself the week off, and without any traveling, I was able to catch up on a few projects at home. More stay-cations in my future, that's for sure!
This year, the holidays were truly enjoyable and refreshing. Can we do it again - soon??
Christmas Eve dinner was shared with my family at our house. It was quite full, with eight people, four dogs, and five cats.

Christmas morning was shared between Zach and I. We opened our gifts for each other and the cats enjoyed laying in the tissue and wrapping paper! We spent the rest of the day at my parents' house with the family, opening gifts, feasting on more delicious food, and relaxing. Ahh - such a refreshing and wonderful weekend!

The weekend of New Year's was spent with Zach's family. We stayed with his grandparents and spent the majority of the time with them. We enjoyed lots and lots of food (totally have to add weight loss to the list of New Year's resolutions!) and warm company (literally, warm - as the thermostat was set to 80!).
