Felt Baby Book

I was excited to deliver these two beautiful books to Mel and Vivienne last week.  At Mel's baby shower in MI the guests helped to design and craft felt pages for these books.  The guests created the designs and then a small group of us embellished the pages with stitching.  The book turned out to be quite large, so it was divided into two albums.

Happy Birthday!

My first niece was born today!  Melisa and Thom labored for fifteen hours and were rewarded by the arrival of their healthy and gorgeous baby girl, Vivienne (pronounced Viviane) at 4:13am this morning.  She weighed 8 pounds and 4 ounces and measured 21 inches long.

I had the privilege of visiting Mel, Thom and baby today and it was spectacular.  Vivienne truly is a precious girl and she is destined to be spoiled by many!  Congratulations, Mel! I'm so proud of you and your strength!  Thom, you're an awesome support to your wife and I'm so excited for you and your new role as DAD!

Clam Bake

We were literally roasting in the sun and intense heat at this year's clam bake.  Somehow a 94 degree pool didn't really cool us off!  Nothing spoils our appetite, though, for the delicious clam bake that Hubby's grandparents' host!  Delicious!

Longwood Gardens

An organ competition brought Mom and I to Longwood Gardens last month.  It was a beautiful day with weather that was just perfect!
