Ketchup
Life has been pretty busy for me lately. Since my last post on the 6th, much has happened. I will try to recap for you.
Feb. 12th brought a second blizzard dumping almost as much snow as the first blizzard. It was quite crazy! Of course, I was blessed to work during this blizzard as well, but bummed a ride from the boss again.
The weekend following the second blizzard I was house/dog-sitting. The unfortunate part of that weekend was the fact that all of the snow we received was drifting like crazy due to high winds and the house was nestled at the end of a mile-long lane. Suffice it to say, I did not make it out for church on Sunday and my departure was delayed by several hours as the neighbors had to plow a path through the field to connect to an adjacent lane that was mostly plowed open.
Following that weekend, was a busy week at work. I am part of a team of employees who are trying to transition the hospital from paper files to computer records. It's not an easy thing to do...
And that brings us to this past weekend. On Saturday, the weather finally cooperated and Zach's parents were able to make it into Camp Hill for a belated birthday celebration for Zach at Confit French Bistro. It was a fabulous dinner!!! And yesterday, we were invited to dinner by a couple from church. We had a lovely time and I definitely stuffed myself with all of their delicious food as well.
Which brings me to this week. I hope to enjoy the last week of the Olympics, hang a few more pictures, restart my wedding scrapbook, and just relax!
(Meanwhile I will try not to freak out that I seem to have misplaced both my camera and my jump drive which currently holds all of my picture files!!!!! I hope my parents can locate the camera at their house, and I'm hoping the jump drive might be at the house I was staying at last weekend...)

So much time and so little to do!
Wait - reverse that!
Will try to post something fresh as soon as my head stops spinning...

Blizzard

Yeah for snow! We received about two feet of snow Friday night and into Saturday. It was incredibly gorgeous! As much as I could do without the snow since I no longer benefit from snow days, this storm was refreshing. I do love the fluffy white stuff after all!

Things are a little different when you live downtown instead of in the country. Snow blowers were running almost continuously starting Friday night as the first flakes fell. I couldn't quite understand the desperate need to stay on top of the 1-2" as they started to fall, but apparently the bank thought it was necessary to have a clear parking lot. Oh well, at least there were fewer cars and trucks flying by.
And speaking of no snow day....I was one of the three lucky ones scheduled to work Saturday morning. Instead of getting there at our scheduled start time of 7:30a, Dr. T rescued Dr. H and myself and we made it in closer to 9a. Amazingly, we had one client brave their way in for an appointment. We still managed to stay busy treating the four sick puppies in the hospital, though.
