He is now in the habit of emptying his basket of toys after we come home from work. He goes from toy to toy squeaking away and just has a blast!
So apparently there was a vole that was running away from him, as you can see the line through the ground that he dug. If you enlarge the picture, you may notice his brown-covered pig nostrils. (Not quite as distinct as when he immediately came up for air. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera at that moment!)
Not only does he have the life of Riley at home, I have spent countless hours working with him and his barking anxieties. For those that have met Remy, you know what I'm talking about. For others, my explanation will never come close to how things actually transpire when he's in the kennels or with other dogs. Basically, he's a hound that barks and he's a castaway critter who truly had no direction or training set forth in his early days to curtail his barking. He had made massive improvements since day one, but he's still got a long way to go! Lucky for him, I'll persevere, even if it kills me!
