I've Been Busy

So sorry to not have regular posts, but here is what I've been up to:

- Belated birthday dinner (by 4 months) for Zach at Brewhouse Grille with both sets of parents.

- Baby shower gift/activity-making (more pictures later after the reveal next week)

- Digging my big-rooted shrubs out of the earth.

- Working...a lot.

- List-making and packing for two trips back-to-back (Kansas and MI, more later)

- Donating blood

I've been busy and will return when I have a bit more time. (Perhaps in the airports waiting for flights.)

This blog began as a way to share some of my smaller, day to day moments with family and friends that I saw once or twice a year. Specifically, I wrote for my Grandma Rosemary. Few people in your life find even the smallest details of your day as remarkable as you do. She was one of those special people for me.

When she passed away in 2013, I struggled with my motivation to continue a lot of my crafts, quilting, and home-making hobbies that we both enjoyed. I've since found new inspiration in my beautiful nieces. Now, this blog continues as a tribute to my grandmother, in honor of her great grandchildren whose lives will continue to be touched by her in spirit, stories, and familial love.
