For me, the best part of Christmas is giving my gifts! I did a good job staying on task with all my homemade gifties and for the most part they were finished on time!
This is a Boo Hoo cold pack for Viv. It's filled with rice and stored in the freezer, to be used when boo-boos happen!
A snuggly baby blanket for Baby Girl McQuillan-Putz
Soon-to-be dad needed a new diaper bag. Steve was surprised that it wasn't just a plain messenger bag. Rumor has it that he uses it daily, but the diapers have been removed. We'll see what happens when the baby comes along!
This cape was made for Viv. I loved the color and pattern of the fabric and the style just fits for her! Last week she wore it out on a "date" and had a fabulous time twirling and watching the cape move.
A small felt book to hold a few crayons and paper for a growing and creative Viv!
The idea of this quilt was given as a Christmas/wedding gift for Mel and Thom in 2013. By Christmas, 2014, I pieced the entire queen-sized quilt. I hope to finish the quilting and binding this summer!
This project is not yet completed, but it is a hand-quilted baby quilt for my second niece and I am in the final countdown with the baby's arrival in three weeks!
I made this dress and two bibs for my second niece, that were given to Angela at her baby shower in November. Happy for another girl to sew for!
In summary...I've been busy!! Each of these projects was so fun to make!!
