Keeping Busy

I don't have many days to laze around and twiddle my thumbs. Most weekends are full of activities of some sort, like a summer concert or a visit with my favorite niece.  The past two weekends, though, I have had the opportunity to complete a few projects around the house. They're still not complete, so there will be a follow-up post at some point, but here's a quick rundown:

- Cleaning, sanding, and staining outdoor chairs
- Repainting plastic outdoor chairs and tables
- Making pillows for outdoor chairs
- Starting and assembling queen quilt top for. Mel and Thom
- Staking plants, primarily the Russian sage
- Painting front door and shutters (!!)
- Cleaning :)

There is still at least one more project I would like to add to the list, but I have to do a bit more research and brainstorming on my idea to know if it will work or not.

So, if you care, stay tuned!

For now, here is a pretty panorama picture of the garden. Double click on the image for a larger view.
